What We Do

We differentiate ourselves by providing Technical Assistance, Professional Development and Customized Solutions to school site administrators and ELL teachers to further enhance the academic achievement of English Language Learners. We have successfully supported numerous schools throughout the five boroughs of New York City and in the states of Virginia and California.


The following are just some of the services we can tailor to fit the precise needs of your District and/or School Community:

Technical Assistance

Education Consortium, LLC provides Results Oriented Coaching & Support Services for administrators and teachers of ELLs.


  • Interview and Assess staff capabilities and Expertise
  • Review & Analyze data
  • Observe classrooms informally using Danielson's Framework for Teaching (2007)with immediate feedback to facilitate improvement in Instruction
  • Inventory of instructional resources and materials and conduct surveys
  • Identify language program’s strengths and areas for improvement
  • Align state content standards and/or Common Core State Standards (CCSS) with English Language Proficiency Standards to improve curricula for ELL teachers and enhance overall student academic achievement
  • Assist with Title III planning and implementation
  • Assist with implementing administrative systems at the school level to ensure compliance and proper instructional placement for ELLs (e.g., HLIS, LAB-R, NYSESLAT, & Parent Orientations)
  • Assist with implementing administrative instructional protocols at the school administrative level to infuse a common instructional language and practice at the classroom level to bolster academic avhievement of ELLs
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the Language Allocation Policy (LAP)

Professional Development

Education Consortium, LLC supports your professional development needs and life long learning committment by building and establishing Professional Learning Communities around individual school needs - teaching teachers effective instructional strategies makes a difference.  Suggested topics include:


  • Data analyses on student learning outcomes to identify trends, strengths, and areas of need at the school and classroom level (i.e.,NYSESLAT, ELL Periodic Assessment and other pertinent assessments that drive instruction)
  • Balanced Literacy through Readers & Writers Learning Sessions with Literacy Centers across the Content Areas
  • Differentiated Instruction and Flexible Grouping to Enhance Second Language Learning
  • Curriculum Planning & Mapping for Language Development in the Classroom

  • Generating Learning Goals for ELLs: Developing Long-term and Short-term Goals

New York, NY December 20, 2011:  Education Consortium LLC is pleased to announce its' certification as a Minority Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) by York State's Department of Economic Development, Division of Minority and Woman's Business Development (DMWBD).
